The design of Intel’s new H10 memory module looks straightforward as hell; half of the H10’s PCB houses the necessary Intel Optane memory modules, while the other half holds the SSD portion of the component. Regarding the latter, the SSD portion utilises the ultra-fast PCIe NVMe 3.0 x4 interface.
Specs-wise, Intel produced three SKUs for the H10. Listed below are the Optane Memory and storage configurations available:
16GB Intel Optane Memory + 256GB SSD32GB Intel Optane Memory + 512GB SSD32GB Intel Optane Memory + 1TB SSD
Sequential read and write speeds for the H10 are listed as 2400MB/s and 1800MB/s, respectively. It should be noted that Intel designed the H10 module for use with its own 8th Generation Intel Core U series mobile processors. The Intel Optane Memory H10 module will be available on OEM platforms at the beginning of Q2 2019.
