A lot of the entries here mention things that kind of go without saying. It also repeats a lot of details already mentioned during the GDC presentation, so it’s a good way to be doing your PS5 revision, if that makes sense. But among them there are a number of important details to highlight. One is that the console will indeed come with a HDMI 2.1 cable in the box. It also confirms previous reports of the PS5 not making use of the M.2 SSD slot at launch. On a related note, SIE says the company is considering allowing next-gen games to be stored on external USB drives. But even if this comes to pass, you’ll still have to transfer them to the SSD to play said games.
